Project Manager

As a Project Manager within the UK Information Security Step up Programme, you will be responsible for the delivery of a series of strategic Identity and Access Management related projects as well as other selected Programme workstreams. You will work closely with the Transformation leads and Programme managers to ensure a level of high-quality delivery and to maintain strong stakeholder management.

Key Accountabilities

Developing strong, trusting and credible relationships with business functions and the key stakeholders;

Manage the delivery of project products in accordance with the BUSINESS Quality Management System;

Translating business requirements into a programme of Identity and Access Management change to evolve IAM Services in better supporting the strategic needs of the business function;

Day-to-day management of assigned projects / smaller programmes / workstreams, including taking the project / programme forward from appointment, supervising and closing the programme, also including;

Qualifications and Previous Experience

Credibility within the project environment and ability to influence others;

Educated to degree level in a business related subject or relevant experience in a business or IT environment;

Qualified as a Managing Successful Programmes Practitioner (or equivalent);

Necessary seniority to be able to take on the responsibilities required of the role;

Strong leadership and management skills;

Being able to understand the wider objectives and Strategy of the BUSINESS Security team as well as its project portfolio;
